No. I have way more training than a CNA but have not completed classes for being an RN. I don’t think that’s a path I’m interested in either. Unless I was a nurse practitioner in an Obgyn clinic.
If I was to be in a medical field it would be OT, OB, or GYN. All which would take a lot more schooling which I’m not quite in the emotional or mental state for.
Can we just.
i can’t not reblog this
I’m trying hard to live by Cat Principles.
1- I am glorious above all things
2- Eat when hungry, sleep when sleepy, play when bored
3- Affection is given and received on my terms and only mine
4- Show displeasure clearly.
6- Demand the things you want. If they aren’t given, demand them again, but louder this time.
7- If you are touched when you don’t want to be, say so. If they continue to touch you, make them bleed.
I kind of love this
"1. Sometimes you’ll be like, “HEY EVERYONE LET’S DO SUSHI AND DRINKS AND FUN STUFF TOMORROW NIGHT!” but then tomorrow night comes and you regret everything as you try to weasel your way out of plans that you created. You resent 24-Hours-Ago-You for being so enthusiastic."
this is me every fucking time(via ascendingl0tus)
one of the guys is in the hospital right now. i can’t go into details due to hippaa but let me just tell you, the utter disorganization, lack of communication between departments, and lack of consistency in care has been a huge fucking disaster.
me, our house nurse, the guy’s guardian, the hospital’s nurse, charge nurse on the floor he is on, surgeon, and hospital social worker were all in a meeting today where we explicitly decided what to do and not do.
and i hear from my staff at the hospital that they said they are planning on doing a procedure WE DECIDED AGAINST tomorrow.
good thing I will be there in the morning to get this shit straightened out. The hospital would be in such huge freaking trouble if they went ahead and did this.
like…how does the info from this meeting not get passed along to everyone?
this hospital is awful.
Unfriendly reminder that in America it’s reasonable to say an unarmed black kid deserved to be shot six times because he might have robbed a convenience store, but a white kid shouldn’t be kicked off the high school football team just because he violently raped a girl.
